Maria Lankowitz is a popular pilgrimage destination, with its beautiful pilgrimage church and colourful entrance portal attracting visitors seeking spiritual reflection or a place to attend Mass. The church is a true architectural gem, featuring a Baroque high altar, a revered image of the Virgin Mary, a treasury and the Chapel of St Anthony.

Just a short distance from the pilgrimage church lies Erzherzog Johann Golf Course. This 18-hole course is a hidden gem, affectionately known as the "Styrian Prince", offering a perfect balance of beautiful natural surroundings and excellent playing conditions.

Maria Lankowitz is also an ideal starting point for scenic hikes. Just a 20-minute drive away, Altes Almhaus on the Stubalm mountain offers a variety of hiking routes, including trails to Steinerne Miarz, Brandkogel and the summit cross on Rappold mountain.

The alpine pastures are also a favourite summer retreat for the young Lipizzaner stallions. From mid-June to mid-September, they spend their summer grazing near Soldatenhaus, adding a special highlight to the mountain experience.
