We were delighted to be part of the 2025 Munich International Film Festival (June 27 – July 6), where we experienced outstanding new films and gained valuable insights into current trends in the film industry.

In 2025, Cinestyria was once again on site at the Cannes International Film Festival, promoting Styria as an outstanding destination for film productions.

From March 27 to April 1, 2025, the Festival of Austrian Film – DIAGONALE – once again brought Austrian cinema to life in Graz.

The popular and beloved Steirerkrimis celebrated their 10th anniversary in Leoben with the premiere of the latest installment, Steirergift.

Held outdoors at Leoben’s main square, the event welcomed numerous guests – including Regional Councillor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl – who had the opportunity to experience the thrilling crime story before it aired on TV. Also in attendance were lead actors Hary Prinz and Anna Unterberger, the team from Allegro Film Production, and members of the press.

The crew of Satel Film filmed the 30th anniversary episode of the popular ORF/ZDF series SOKO Donau for its 20th season in Graz and the surrounding area. During a set visit at Graz's Mariahilferplatz, the lead actors briefed the attending press, Regional Councillor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, and City Councillor Günter Riegler on the progress of the shoot.
